Sixteen year old Kyra is a feisty female potions master who determines that her best friend, Aria, who happens to be both a princess and the future ruler of the kingdom, has to die. When Kyra's assassination attempt fails, she flees the palace only so that she will be able to try again. As much as it will hurt her, Kyra can not let her best friend destroy the kingdom.
